This Applecross home was being tidied up ready to be put on the market.
Window cleaning was one of the jobs that needed doing, but the weather was a bit challenging!
Lots of louvred windows in this property and they directly face the river, so on a wet and windy winter's day they copped the salty spray off the water.
RAINY DAY WINDOW CLEANING FOR A 2 STOREY APPLECROSS HOME
It really wasn't the best of days for a window cleaner.
Not only was it quite windy, bursts of rain kept blowing in fairly consistently.
Internal Window Cleaning
This Applecross property was a fairly big home and there were plenty of internal windows to be cleaned.
Cleaning all the internal windows was nice and cosy, but it was a bit chilly outside!
I must admit, whilst cleaning the interior windows and seeing the weather outside, it wasn't very motivating knowing I'd need to be up on that roof!
Cleaning Louvred Windows
I use a pure water fed system on external windows, but it's also a highly efficient way to clean louvred windows.
But the louvres need to be slightly open in order to clean and rinse them properly.
This just wasn't practical in this weather, as the salty river air and rain would of simply contaminated them whilst they were drying.
So the owner was happy for me to just wash the externals.
Considering the challenges that the weather brought, the windows came up great and ended up being a quick sale.
The owner was so happy with the job I ended up cleaning the windows in their new double storey home.
