There's always a new suburb or housing development being built in Perth, and many of these new homes are double storey properties.
Back in the day you were considered well off to live in a 2 storey home, whereas nowadays a large proportion of new homes are double storey.
Not only can a multi-storey home have more windows, it demands a different approach to property maintenance and window cleaning.
Creative Architects
There's some very creative and imaginative architects designing double storey homes here in Perth.
But unfortunately, sometimes design overrules the practicality of accessing the windows for regular cleaning!
It's very rare that I can't access a window, as I have been cleaning 2 storey homes for many years and learnt all the tricks to accessing what looks like a tricky window.
I also use a pure water pole fed system on external windows and this allows for far easier access to high windows.
Accessing Double Storey Windows

Just as with a single storey home, I also clean any screens and screen doors, window tracks, wiping down of frames as well as offering de-cobwebbing, balcony and balustrade glass, glass pool fences and any internal glass and mirrors.
I use a pure water fed pole system, which not only leaves the windows spot and streak free, it means I'm able to reach awkward and high windows.
I can also clean your solar panels and any skylights.
No Window too High!
